Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Approved by: Ian Chadwick — 20/01/2026

Purpose

This statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out WBP Equip's position on modern slavery and human trafficking.

Business and Structure

WBP Equip is a UK-based technology and product development company operating within the built environment and wellbeing ecosystem. Our operations do not involve labour-intensive manufacturing or supply chains in high-risk jurisdictions.

Commitment

We are committed to operating with integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights. We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery or human trafficking and will take proportionate steps to avoid contributing to these harms.

Risk Assessment

Given the nature of our operations, we consider the risk of modern slavery in our direct activities to be low. However, we recognise that indirect risks can arise through supply chains and third-party relationships, and we manage these through our broader governance framework.

Policies and Governance

This statement is supported by a number of related policies, including the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, Supplier and Independent Assurance Statement, Conflicts of Interest Policy, and Whistleblowing and Speaking Up Policy.

Supplier Expectations

We expect our suppliers and partners to operate in accordance with ethical business practices and to have appropriate measures in place to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within their own operations.

Speaking Up

Anyone who has concerns or suspects any form of modern slavery in connection with WBP Equip is encouraged to raise those concerns through our whistleblowing and governance arrangements.
