Last updated: 20/01/2026
Purpose
Wellbeing Places Equip Limited ("WBP Equip") is committed to conducting its business responsibly and ethically, and to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in its operations and supply chains.
This Statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and reflects the Company's proportionate approach, taking account of its size, activities, and risk profile.
Our Business and Structure
WBP Equip is a UK-based technology and product company operating within the built-environment and wellbeing ecosystem.
The Company does not operate in high-risk jurisdictions and does not engage in labour-intensive manufacturing or supply-chain activities typically associated with elevated modern slavery risk.
Our Commitment
WBP Equip is committed to:
- acting with integrity and transparency in all business dealings;
- respecting human rights and dignity;
- avoiding involvement in any activity that could contribute to modern slavery or human trafficking; and
- taking reasonable steps to identify and mitigate risks within its operations and relationships.
Risk Assessment
Given the nature of the Company's activities, WBP Equip considers the risk of modern slavery within its direct operations to be low.
Potential areas of risk may arise indirectly through third-party suppliers or service providers. These risks are managed through proportionate governance and oversight arrangements.
Policies and Governance
WBP Equip's approach to modern slavery risk is supported by its wider governance framework, including:
- the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics;
- the Supplier & Independent Assurance Statement;
- the Conflicts of Interest Policy; and
- the Whistleblowing & Speaking Up Policy.
Together, these policies promote ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability.
Supplier Expectations
Where appropriate, WBP Equip seeks to work with suppliers and partners who demonstrate ethical business practices and respect for applicable laws.
Supplier relationships are structured to support responsible conduct and to allow concerns to be raised and addressed if identified.
Speaking Up
WBP Equip encourages individuals to raise concerns about unethical behaviour, including any suspicion of modern slavery or human trafficking, through its whistleblowing arrangements.
Concerns raised in good faith will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
Review
This Statement is reviewed periodically and updated as appropriate to reflect changes in the Company's activities, risk profile, or legal requirements.
